EQUIP CLASSES

Find the Tools to Help You Grow

Learning and growing is norm!

Part of being a healthy and thriving member of a local church is investing in the spiritual growth of yourself and others in the body. We believe that discipleship happens in our small groups; therefore, we encourage you to join. As a believer, you are responsible for your personal growth. The church gives you many tools to help you grow. We have weekend services, daily devotionals, Equip classes, conferences, retreats, books, special movie nights, worship nights, prayer nights, and other opportunities to learn and grow. We believe that learning and growing is normal.

These classes offer you the opportunity to be in community with one another. We encourage you to receive from one another, ask questions, make new friends, and enjoy our shared passion for a particular subject. This ultimately turns our learning into dynamic, effective ministry for our family, church, community and marketplace.

Let’s grow together!

Do I have to register for a class?

Some classes do not require registration, and you will see this noted on the class schedule as open. For most of the Equip classes, however, registration is welcome and appreciated!

Because of the size of Faith Center and our host homes, it can be tricky to estimate how many people will show up for a particular class. Think of it more as an RSVP, letting us know that you’re planning on participating in a certain class. This will help us better prepare a welcoming space for your arrival.

How do I register for a class?

Register online or at the Info Desk.  If you need help purchasing your books online, please drop by the office for assistance.

Celebrate Recovery is a biblical and balanced program that helps us overcome our hurts, hang-ups, and habits. It is based on the actual words of Jesus rather than psychological theory. It was designed as a program to help those struggling by showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through a recovery process.

Is Celebrate Recovery for me? Ask yourself:

  • Are there actions or habits in my life that hurt others?
  • Is there something I wish I could live without?
  • Is it time to crack my denial and admit I am not in control of my life?
  • Do I have a painful habit or hang-up from which I need to be freed?

If you answered “yes” to any of these statements, then we urge you to attend a Celebrate Recovery meeting to see if it is for you.

Is Celebrate Recovery confidential?
Yes, Celebrate Recovery maintains strict confidentiality. This promotes an atmosphere of trust and enables recovery.

What types of issues are dealt with at Celebrate Recovery?

A wide variety of hurts, hang-ups, and harmful behaviors are represented at Celebrate Recovery. Examples include dependency on alcohol or drugs, pornography, low self-esteem, need to control, depression, anger, co-dependency, fear of rejection, fear of abandonment, perfectionism, broken relationships, and abuse.
